Sunday September 16, Johnnie's Walkers made their debut to the Washington area. The group-- Mom, Dad, Susana, Dan, Celina, Joe, Noah, Ian, Catherine (& baby), Caroline, Chris, Chrissy, Steve, Liz, the Hubbards-- led by our fearless leader, John McGrance, came out to "Run as One" in support of Lung Cancer research. Most of the group participated in the "Health Walk" and a brave 5 ran the 5K. THe race was held started/finished at Freedom Plaza. WHat beautiful scenery! Congrats to Chris for being the first done (in under 24 minutes) of the runners! We're all set to train for next year's event...

I want to congratulate all those walkers out there....it was tough but we made it through the 1.4 mile walk with style...heehee!
